Description: A beautiful spot for this small play park, positioned right next to the lake with stunning views. The park is fully fenced and features a number of wooden balance beams, a wigwam, a toddler climbing frame, rockers and cradle swings. Behind the park is a traditional tearoom and the Salt & Malt fish and chip shop, as well as public toilets. There is a large car park at the main entrance (Picnic Area A), or you can park at the smaller Picnic Area B car park and enjoy a short walk to the park and tearoom along the footpath running parallel with the lake, which is about a 10/15 minute walk at toddler pace (accessible with buggies but a bit bumpy!). From the Picnic Area B car park you can access the two nature trails which run around the nature reserve on the lakeside, details of which are available here.
Parking: There are two car parks, the main car park next to the cafe, and a smaller car park at Picnic Area B. Both are managed by Bristol Water, and are charged at £2 all day, year round (you can get £1 back if you spend £7 or more in the tearoom or Salt & Malt takeaway).
Price: £2 parking charge
